Serial References

What are Serial References?

A Serial Reference is a unique set of characters that can be used to individually identify a product or service. Designed to be used once, it can be tracked throughout its life. Serial References can be made up of numbers, letters and symbols.

Serial References serve multiple purposes, such as ensuring accurate record keeping, tracing product history, managing inventory, and tracking warranty information. Serial References can be used to expose unique information about each product to your customers. By doing so, you can foster transparency and enable customers to have a deeper understanding of the individual characteristics and history associated with each purchase.

By default there is a limit of 1000 Serial References per Group. Contact us if you'd like to increase this limit.
