Topics
What are Topics?
A topic is a custom attribute linked to a Serial Reference, they can be used to add additional information, for example a Model or Product ID.
When an integration is added, a new topic is automatically created with the integrations name, i.e Shopify. When a new Serial Reference is created or used depending on the Group Type, then the topic data will be populated with the Shopify Order ID.
Each Group can have a maximum of 7 manually created topics - integrations topics can still be added once the limit has been reached. Topics can be updated and deleted.
Each time a new Serial Reference is created, you can set the Topic Data to populate automatically using the Default Topic Data option. By presetting the Topic Data, each Serial Reference will use the same data when it is created.
